In the twenty-seventh year of Asa the king of Judah, Zimri reigned seven days in Tirzah. And the people were camped against Gibbethon, which was the Philistines’.

And Jeroboam’s wife rose up and went, and came to Tirzah. She came in to the threshold of the house, and the boy died.

And it happened, when Baasha heard, he ceased building Ramah, and dwelt in Tirzah.

And Baasha the son of Ahijah, of the house of Issachar, conspired against him. And Baasha struck him at Gibbethon which belonged to the Philistines. For Nadab and all Israel had laid siege to Gibbethon.

And Zimri came in and struck him, and killed him in the twenty-seventh year of Asa the king of Judah, and reigned in his place.

And the people who were encamped heard, saying, Zimri has conspired and has struck the king. And all Israel made Omri the commander of the army to rule over Israel on that day in the camp.

In the twenty-sixth year of Asa the king of Judah, Elah the son of Baasha began to reign over Israel in Tirzah, two years.

And Jehu came to the gate. And she said, Peace to Zimri the slayer of his lord?

that the exulting of the wicked ones is near an end, and the joy of the godless one is for a moment?

I have seen the wicked one, the ruthless one, even spreading himself out like a luxuriant, native tree;

and Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh and its open lands, Gibbethon and its open lands,
