King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty-one years old when he began to reign. And he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which Jehovah chose out of all the tribes of Israel, to put His name there. And his mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonitess.

And he shall have the one tribe for my servant David’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel.

And I will give one tribe to his son, that there may be a lamp to My servant David before Me all the days in Jerusalem, the city that I have chosen to Myself, to put My name there.

and Solomon lay with his fathers and was buried in the city of his father David; and his son Rehoboam reigned in his place.

As to the sons of Israel, those living in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.

And the days that Jeroboam reigned were twenty-two years. And he lay with his fathers, and his son Nadab reigned in his place.

And Rehoboam lay with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And his mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonitess. And his son Abijam reigned in his place.

He was a son of thirty-five years when he began to reign. And he reigned twentyfive years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.

From the day that I brought out My people, even Israel, from Egypt, I have not chosen a city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house for My name to be there; but I chose David to be over My people Israel.

for Your eyes are open toward this house night and day, toward the place of which You have said, My name shall be there; to listen to the prayer which Your servant prays toward this place.

If Your people shall go out to battle against its enemy, in the way that You have sent them, and they have prayed to Jehovah the way to the city which You have chosen, and to the house which I have built for Your name,

And it happened, when the kingdom of Rehoboam was settled, and when he was strong, he forsook the Law of Jehovah, and all Israel with him.

And King Rehoboam made himself strong in Jerusalem, and reigned. For Rehoboam was a son of forty one years when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city that Jehovah had chosen to put His name there, out of all the tribes of Israel. And his mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonitess.

And vain men gathered to him, sons of worthlessness, and they made themselves strong against Rehoboam the son of Solomon; and Rehoboam was a youth and tender of heart, and could not be strong against them.

You shall make an altar of earth for Me, and you shall sacrifice your burnt offerings and your peace offerings on it, your sheep and your cattle. In every place in which I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you and will bless you.

and give a ringing cry of joy, one living in Zion! For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst.

If the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to put His name there is too far from you, then you shall kill of your herd and of your flock which Jehovah has given you, as I have commanded you; and you shall eat within your gates according to all the desire of your soul.

But you shall seek to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose out of all your tribes; for you shall seek His dwelling, to put His name there. And you shall go there.

An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into the assembly of Jehovah; even to the tenth generation shall none of them enter into the assembly of Jehovah, perpetually;
