But he clung to the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin. He did not turn aside from it.

For Jehovah had humbled Judah because of Ahaz the king of Israel, for he loosed immorality in Judah, and acted unfaithfully against Jehovah.

So I gave them up to the stubbornness of their own hearts; they walked in their own counsels.

And Moses said to Aaron, What has this people done to you that you have made to come on them a great sin?

And Moses saw the people, that it was unloosed, for Aaron had let it loose for a derision among their enemies.

And one has kept himself as to the statutes of Omri and all the works of the house of Ahab. And you walk in their counsels, so that I may give you for a horror, and ones living in her for a hissing. And you shall bear the reproach of My people.

Woe to the world from its stumblingblocks! It is a necessity for the stumbling blocks to come, yet woe to that man through whom the stumbling-block comes!

Therefore let us no longer judge one another, but rather judge this, not to put a stumbling block or a snare toward a brother.

How could one chase a thousand, and two put a myriad to flight, if it were not their Rock that sold them, and Jehovah had shut them up?
