King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And I will give one tribe to his son, that there may be a lamp to My servant David before Me all the days in Jerusalem, the city that I have chosen to Myself, to put My name there.

And Abishai the son of Zeruiah helped him, and struck the Philistine, and caused him to die. Then the men of David swore to him, saying, You shall not again go out with us to battle, that you not cause to go out the lamp of Israel.

For You are my lamp, O Jehovah; and Jehovah shall enlighten my darkness.

And your house shall be established, and your kingdom before you forever. Your throne shall be established forever.

And now, let it please You to bless the house of Your servant, to be forever before You. For You, O Lord Jehovah, have spoken, and with Your blessing shall the house of Your servant be blessed forever.

Only I will not tear away all the kingdom; I will give one tribe to your son for my servant David’s sake, and for the sake of Jerusalem that I have chosen.

And he shall have the one tribe for my servant David’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel.

And I will take you, and you shall reign according to all that your soul desires, and shall be king over Israel.

As to the sons of Israel, those living in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.

And Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty-one years old when he began to reign. And he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which Jehovah chose out of all the tribes of Israel, to put His name there. And his mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonitess.

But for David’s sake Jehovah his God gave to him a lamp in Jerusalem, to raise up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem.

so that Jehovah may establish His Word which He spoke to me, saying, If your sons take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth, with all their heart, and with all their soul, saying, There shall not be a man to you cut off from the throne of Israel.

for Your eyes are open toward this house night and day, toward the place of which You have said, My name shall be there; to listen to the prayer which Your servant prays toward this place.

And Jehovah said to him, I have heard your prayer and your supplication with which you have made supplication before Me; I have sanctified this house that you have built to put My name there forever; and My eyes and My heart shall be there all the days.

And Jehovah was not willing to destroy Judah, for His servant David’s sake, as He had said to give him a lamp to his sons forever.

And King Rehoboam made himself strong in Jerusalem, and reigned. For Rehoboam was a son of forty one years when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city that Jehovah had chosen to put His name there, out of all the tribes of Israel. And his mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonitess.

And Jehovah was not willing to destroy the house of David, for the sake of the covenant that He made with David, and as He had spoken, to give a lamp to him and to his sons all the days.

I will make the horn of David to sprout; I have arranged a lamp for My Anointed.

But you have drawn near Mount Zion, even the city of the living God, to a heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels,

And he carried me in spirit on to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, holy Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God,
