And we have this commandment from Him, that the one who loves God also loves his brother.
You shall not take vengeance, and not bear any grudge against the sons of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am Jehovah.
You have heard that it was said, “You shall love your neighbor” and hate your enemy; Lev. 19:18
And he said, The one doing the deed of mercy with him. Then Jesus said to him, Go, and you do likewise.
This is My commandment, that you love one another as I loved you.
For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Lev. 19:18
For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any strength, but faith working through love.
Now as to brotherly love, you have no need for me to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.
And, finally, be all like-minded, sympathetic, loving the brothers, tenderhearted, friendly,
but before all things having fervent love to yourselves, “because love will cover a multitude of sins”. Prov. 10:12
Brothers, I do not write a new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the Word which you heard from the beginning.
Because this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,
We know that we have passed from death to life because we love the brothers. The one not loving the brother abides in death.
My little children, let us not love in word, or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
And this is His commandment, that we should believe into the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as He gave command to us.
Beloved ones, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
