Because this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,
He rises up from the supper and lays aside His garments. And taking a towel, He girded Himself.
This is My commandment, that you love one another as I loved you.
Bear one another’s burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ.
and walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a fragrance of a sweet smell.
Now as to brotherly love, you have no need for me to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.
but the end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience, and faith without hypocrisy,
Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to unpretended brotherly love, love one another fervently out of a pure heart,
And, finally, be all like-minded, sympathetic, loving the brothers, tenderhearted, friendly,
but before all things having fervent love to yourselves, “because love will cover a multitude of sins”. Prov. 10:12
And this is the message which we have heard from Him, and we announce to you: God is light, and no darkness is in Him, none!
Beloved ones, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
And we have this commandment from Him, that the one who loves God also loves his brother.
Beloved ones, let us love one another, because love is from God, and every one who loves has been generated from God, and knows God.
And I now request you, lady, not writing as a new commandment, but one which we had from the beginning, that we should love one another.
