But Absalom did not speak either good or evil with Amnon, for Absalom hated Amnon, because he had humbled his sister Tamar.

They neither know and not will understand; they walk in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.

You shall not hate your brother in your heart; reproving you shall reprove your neighbor, and not allow sin on him.

Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin. But now you say, We see; therefore, your sin remains.

And in these days, standing up in the midst of the disciples, (and the number of names together being about a hundred and twenty), Peter said,

For the one in whom these things are not present is blind, being shortsighted, receiving forgetfulness of the cleansing of his sins in time past.

If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and we walk in darkness, we lie and are not practicing the truth.

But the one hating his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness blinded his eyes.

The one saying, I have known Him, and not keeping His commands is a liar, and the truth is not in this one.

By this the children of God and the children of the devil are made known: Everyone not practicing righteousness is not of God; also the one not loving his brother.

If anyone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar. For the one not loving his brother whom he has seen, how is he able to love God whom he has not seen?
