Strengthen then the slack of hands and firm up the staggering knees.

And he shall say, Raise up! Raise up! Clear the way! Make the stumbling block rise from the way of My people.

Son of man, these men have made go up their idols in their hearts, and have set the stumbling block of their iniquity before their faces. Should I at all be sought by them?

Because they ministered to them before their idols, and became a stumbling block of iniquity to the house of Israel, therefore I have lifted up My hand against them, a statement of the Lord Jehovah. And they shall bear their iniquity.

See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that their angels in Heaven continually look on the face of My Father in Heaven.

Let no one seek the thing of himself, but each one the thing of the other.

But if anyone tells you, This is an idolatrous offering, do not eat because of that one disclosing it, and the conscience; for “the earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness of it.” Psa. 24:1

But I say conscience, not the one of himself, but the one of the other. For why is my freedom judged by another’s conscience?

Be not led into sin, both to Jews and Greeks, and to the assembly of God.

For if anyone sees you, the one having knowledge, reclining in an idol’s temple, will not the weak one’s conscience be built up so as to eat the idolatrous offering?

But sinning so against your brothers, and wounding their conscience, being weak, you sin against Christ.

I became to the weak ones as weak, that I might gain the weak ones. To all people I have become all things, that in any and every way I might save some.

I speak according to dishonor, as if we have been weak. But in whatever anyone dares (I say it in foolishness), I also dare.

Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is caused to stumble, and I do not burn?

We are not giving a cause of stumbling, not that the ministry may not be blamed,

For, brothers, you were called to freedom. Only do not use the freedom for an opening to the flesh. But through love be slaves to one another.

Watch that there will not be one abducting you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the elements of the world, and not according to Christ.

as free men, and not having freedom as a cover of evil, but as slaves of God;

promising to them freedom, though themselves being slaves of corruption; for by whom anyone has been overcome, even to this one he has been enslaved.

But I have a few things against you, that you have there some holding the teachings of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, to eat idol sacrifices, and to commit fornication.
