For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who made eunuchs of themselves for the sake of the kingdom of Heaven. He who is able to receive, let him receive it.
But take heed to yourselves that your hearts not be loaded down with headaches, and drinking, and anxieties of life, and that day come suddenly upon you.
And the one falling in the thornbushes, these are the ones hearing, but under cares and riches and pleasures of life, moving along, they are choked, and do not bear to maturity.
But if anyone thinks he acts unseemly toward his virgin (if she is beyond her prime, and so it ought to be), let him do what he desires; he does not sin; let them marry.
For the rest, brothers, as many things as are true, as many as are honorable, as many as are right, as many as are pure, as many as are pleasing, as many as are of good report, if of any virtue, and if of any praise, meditate on these things.
