Were you called as a slave? It does not matter to you. But if you are able to be free, rather use it.

And you, do not seek what you shall eat, or what you shall drink, and stop being in anxiety.

But take heed to yourselves that your hearts not be loaded down with headaches, and drinking, and anxieties of life, and that day come suddenly upon you.

For also we all were baptized into one Spirit into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, even all were given to drink into one Spirit.

Each one in the calling in which he was called, in this remain.

For the one having been called as a slave in the Lord is a free man of the Lord. And likewise, the one being called a free man is a slave of Christ.

There cannot be Jew nor Greek, there is no slave nor freeman, there is no male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Not that I speak as to need, for I have learned to be content in whatever state I am.

Be anxious about nothing, but in everything by prayer and by petition with thanksgivings, let your requests be made known to God;

where there is no Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, slave or free man, but Christ is all things and in all.

Set your way of life without moneyloving, being satisfied with present things; for He has said, “Not I will leave you, not ever! Nor I will not forsake you, not ever!” Deut. 31:6
