He finding a wife finds good, and obtains favor from Jehovah.

House and riches are the inheritance of fathers, but a wife who acts prudently is from Jehovah.

Yet you say, On what cause? On that Jehovah has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have acted deceitfully; and she is your companion and your covenant wife.

But I say to you, Whoever puts away his wife, apart from a matter of fornication, causes her to commit adultery. And whoever shall marry the one put away commits adultery.

Flee fornication. Every sin which a man may do is outside the body, but he doing fornication sins against his own body.

But concerning what you wrote to me, it is good for a man not to touch a woman;

Let the husband give due kindness to the wife, and likewise the wife also to the husband.

But if they do not have self control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to be inflamed.

So, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies, (he loving his wife loves himself),

However, you also, everyone, let each love his wife as himself, and the wife, that she give deference to the husband.

each one of you to know to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor,

forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods, which God created for partaking with thanksgiving by the believing ones and the ones fully knowing the truth.

And it shall be, when their fathers or their brothers come to strive with us, we shall say to them, Favor us with them, for we did not take for each man of them a wife in battle, for if you did not give to them as at this time, you would be guilty.
