Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods, but God will destroy both this and these. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, which you have from God, and you are not of yourselves?

Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwells in you?

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, to obey it in its lusts.

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Then taking the members of Christ, shall I make them members of a prostitute? Let it not be!

because a husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is Head of the Assembly, and He is Savior of the body.

Do you not yet perceive that everything entering into the mouth goes into the belly, and is expelled into the latrine?

For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, brothers, I call on you through the compassions of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.

For I am jealous over you with a jealousy of God. For I have betrothed you to one Man, to present you a pure virgin to Christ.

and He died for all, that the living ones may live no more to themselves, but to the One dying for them and having been raised.

So that, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, for you to become Another’s, to the One having been raised from the dead, so that we may bear fruit to God.

Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and died.

Do not work for the food, the one perishing, but for the food, the one enduring to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give to you; for God the Father sealed Him.

This is because it does not enter into his heart, but into the belly, and goes out into the latrine, purging all the foods.

These things are the things defiling the man. But eating with unwashed hands does not defile the man.

But the ones belonging to Christ crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.
