Who then is Paul? And who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, and to each one as the Lord gave?

And to one indeed he gave five talents, and to another, two, and to another, one, to each according to his ability. And he went abroad at once.

even as the ones from the beginning gave over to us, becoming eye-witnesses and ministers of the Word,

John answered and said, A man is able to receive nothing if it is not given to him from Heaven.

But a certain Jew, Apollos by name, an Alexandrian by people, an eloquent man, came into Ephesus, being powerful in the Scriptures.

And it happened, in the time Apollos was in Corinth, Paul was passing through the higher parts to come to Ephesus. And finding some disciples,

for me to be a minister of Jesus Christ to the nations, sacredly ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the nations might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

And God placed some in the assembly, firstly, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then works of power; then gifts of healing, helps, governings, kinds of languages.

And about the brother Apollos, I much urged him that he come to you with the brothers, but it was not at all his will that he come now. But he will come when he his opportunity.

According to God’s grace given to me, as a wise master builder, I laid a foundation, but another builds on it. But let each one look how he builds on it.

whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours,

So as neither the one planting is anything, nor the one watering, but God the One making to grow.

For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if unwillingly, I am entrusted with a stewardship.

Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as beside myself) I being beyond them: in labors, more abundantly; in stripes, beyond measure; in prisons, much more; in deaths, many times.

it being made known that you are Christ’s letter, ministered by us, not having been inscribed by ink, but by the Spirit of the living God, not in tablets of stone, but in fleshly tablets of the heart.

who also made us able ministers of a new covenant, not of letter, but of Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive.

Because of this, having this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we do not fail in heart.

For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves your slaves for the sake of Jesus.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellence of the power may be of God, and not from us;

And all things are from God, the One having reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and having given to us the ministry of reconciliation,

But working together, we also call on you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

but in everything commending ourselves as God’s servants, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

of which I was made a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me, according to the working of His power.

if indeed you continue in the faith having been founded and steadfast, and not being moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, the one being proclaimed in all the creation under the heaven, of which I, Paul, became a servant.

of which I became a servant, according to the stewardship of God given to me for you, to fulfill the Word of God,

And I have thanks to Him empowering me, our Lord Jesus Christ, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the service;

each one as he received a gift, ministering it to yourselves as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
