Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks to be a wise one among you in this age, let him become foolish, that he may become a wise one.

Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding;

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear Jehovah and turn from evil.

And hear me now, O sons, and do not depart from the words of my mouth.

Feeding on ashes, a deceived heart turns him aside, and he does not deliver his soul, and does not say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

Woe to the wise ones in their own eyes, and discerning in their own faces!

So says Jehovah, Do not deceive yourselves, saying, Going the Chaldeans will go from us, for they shall not go.

How do you say, We are wise ones, and the Law of Jehovah is with us? Behold, certainly the scribes have practiced deceit, the pen of the lie.

And the seed sown into the thornbushes is this: the one hearing the Word, and the anxiety of this age, and the deceit of riches, choke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful.

Therefore whoever will humble himself as this little child, this one is the greater in the kingdom of Heaven.

Truly I say to you, Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a child may not enter into it, not ever.

Truly I say to you, Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child, will not enter into it, not ever

And He said, Watch that you not be led astray. For many will come on My name, saying, I am! Also, The time has come! Do not then go after them.

For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be wise among yourselves, that hardness in part has happened to Israel until the fulfilling of the nations comes in;

be mindful of the same thing toward one another, not being mindful of high things, but be accommodating to the lowly. Do not become wise among yourselves;

Do not be led astray; bad companionships corrupt good habits.

If anyone corrupts the temple of God, God will corrupt this one; for the temple of God is holy, which you are.

We are fools for the sake of Christ, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honored, but we are not honored.

Or do you not know that unjust ones will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be led astray, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor boy-abusers, nor homosexuals,

For if anyone thinks to be something, he deceives himself, being nothing.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man may sow, that he also will reap.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for through these the wrath of God comes on the sons of disobedience.

But evil men and imposters will go forward to worse, leading astray and being led astray.

For we also once were senseless, disobedient, being led astray, slaving for various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

But become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

If anyone thinks to be religious among you, yet not bridling his tongue, but deceiving his heart, this one’s religion is vain.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
