In a moment, in a glance of an eye, at the last trumpet; for a trumpet will sound, and the dead ones will be raised incorruptible, and we shall all be changed.
And on the third day, it being morning, it happened: There were thunders and lightnings, and a heavy cloud on the mountain, and the sound of a rams’ horn, very strong! And all the people in the camp trembled.
And all the people saw the thunders, and the lightnings, and the sound of the rams’horn, and the smoking mountain. And the people looked, and they trembled, and they stood from a distance.
And Jehovah said to Moses, Say to the sons of Israel, You are a stiffnecked people; in one instant I will go up among you and I will consume you. And now lay off from you your ornaments, that I may know what I shall do to you.
All those living in the world and those living on the earth, as one lifts a sign on the hills, you will see. And you will hear as the blowing of a rams` horn.
And it shall be in that day, the great rams` horn shall be blown; and those perishing in the land of Assyria and the outcasts in the land of Egypt shall come and shall worship Jehovah in the holy mountain in Jerusalem.
But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the rams’ horn, and the people did not take warning, and the sword comes and takes a soul from them, he is taken in his iniquity. And I will require his blood from the watchman’s hand.
And Jehovah will be seen over them, and His arrow shall go out as lightning; and the Lord Jehovah shall blow the rams’ horn and shall go forth with the tempests of the south.
And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from the extreme limits of the heavens to the extreme limits of them..
Truly, truly, I say to you that an hour is coming, and now is, when the dead ones will hear the voice of the Son of God, and the ones hearing will live.
For we say this to you in the Word of the Lord, that we the living who remain to the coming of the Lord will not at all go before the ones having fallen asleep.
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and being burning up the elements will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be burned up.
And I saw, and I heard one angel flying in mid-heaven, saying with a great voice, Woe! Woe! Woe to those dwelling on the earth, from the remaining voices of the trumpet of the three angels being about to trumpet!
