He who is short of temper acts foolishly; and a man of evil plots is hated.

And the people shall be oppressed man against man, and a man against his neighbor. The boy will act insolently against the old one, and the one being despised against the one being honored.

But I say to you, Everyone who is angry with his brother without cause shall be liable to the Judgment. And whoever says to his brother, Raca, shall be liable to the sanhedrin; but whoever says, Fool! shall be liable to be thrown into the fire of Hell.

And seeing their thoughts, Jesus said, Why do you think evil in your hearts?

And having looked around on them with anger, being greatly grieved over the hardness of their heart, He said to the man, Stretch out your hand! And he stretched out, and his hand was restored sound as the other.

But seeing, the Pharisee who invited Him spoke within himself, saying, This One, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what the woman who touches Him is; for she is a sinner.

Let no one seek the thing of himself, but each one the thing of the other.

Even as I also please all in all things, not seeking my own advantage, but that of the many, that they may be saved.

Indeed, first, I hear divisions to be among you when you come together in the assembly. And I believe it in some part.

that there not be division in the body, but that the members might have the same care for one another.

But if anyone thinks he acts unseemly toward his virgin (if she is beyond her prime, and so it ought to be), let him do what he desires; he does not sin; let them marry.

as, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not charging their deviations to them, and putting the Word of reconciliation in us.

For, brothers, you were called to freedom. Only do not use the freedom for an opening to the flesh. But through love be slaves to one another.

For all seek their own things, not the things of Christ Jesus.

For the rest, brothers, as many things as are true, as many as are honorable, as many as are right, as many as are pure, as many as are pleasing, as many as are of good report, if of any virtue, and if of any praise, meditate on these things.

For you yourselves know how it is right to act like us, because we were not disorderly among you;

Because of this, I endure all things on account of the elect, that they also may obtain salvation, the one in Christ Jesus, with everlasting glory.

In my first defense no one came to my aid, but all deserted me. May it not be reckoned to them.

So that, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
