Even as the body is one, and has many members, but all the members of the one body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.

Because we, the many, are one bread, one body, for we all partake of the one bread.

But now, indeed, many are the members, but one body.

And you are Christ’s body, and members in part.

And to each one is given the showing forth of the Spirit to the profiting of each one.

But the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his Seed (it does not say, And to seeds, as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” which is Christ). Gen. 3:15; 21:12; 22:18, Rom. 9:7; Heb. 11:18

which is His body: the fullness of the One filling all things in all;

for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ,

There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling;

because a husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is Head of the Assembly, and He is Savior of the body.

For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.

And He is the Head of the body, the Assembly, who is the Beginning, the Firstborn out of the dead ones that He having first place in all things;

who now rejoice in my sufferings on your behalf and fill up in my flesh the things lacking of the afflictions of Christ on behalf of His body, which is the Assembly,

and not holding fast the Head, from whom all the body being supplied through the joints and bands, and being joined together, will grow with the growth of God.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you also were called in one body, and coming to be thankful.
