What then do I say, that an idol is anything, or that an idolatrous offering is anything?

All the nations are as nothing before Him; to Him they are reckoned less than nothing and emptiness.

Behold, they are all evil; their works are nothing; their molten images are wind and vanity.

And you see and hear that not only Ephesus, but this Paul has persuaded almost all of Asia, perverting a considerable crowd, saying that they are not gods, the ones being made by hands.

And God chose the low-born ones of the world, and the things beng despised, and the things not being, so that He might nullify the things being,

On account of this, my beloved, flee from idolatry.

And if I have prophecies, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

So as neither the one planting is anything, nor the one watering, but God the One making to grow.

Therefore concerning the eating of idolatrous offerings, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God except one.

Boasting, I have become foolish. You compelled me. For I ought to be commended by you, for I lacked nothing of the exceedingly great apostles, even though I am nothing.

They made Me jealous with a no-god; they made Me angry by their vanities; and I shall make them jealous by a no-people; by a foolish nation I shall make them angry.
