For since in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom did not know God, God was pleased through the foolishness of preaching to save the ones believing.

Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God forever, even until ever, for wisdom and might are His.

O the depth of the riches and of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

For the Word of the cross is foolishness to the ones perishing, but to us being saved it is the power of God.

we, on the other hand, preach Christ crucified (truly a stumbling block to Jews, and a pitfall to Greeks),

but to them, the ones called, both to Jews and to Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God;

because the foolish thing of God is wiser than men, and the weak thing of God is stronger than men.

But God chose the foolish things of the world that the wise might be put to shame, and God chose the weak things of the world so that He might put to shame the strong things.

But being judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we not be condemned with the world.

But a natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

We are fools for the sake of Christ, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honored, but we are not honored.

Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy of small judgments?

But when God was pleased, He having separated me from my mother’s womb, and having called me through His grace, Isa. 49:1

But then, indeed, not knowing God, you served as slaves to the ones by nature not being gods.

making known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,

so that now to the rulers and to the authorities in the heavenly realm might be made known through the Assembly the manifold wisdom of God,

because all the fullness was pleased to dwell in Him,

Are they not all ministering spirits for service, being sent out because of the ones being about to inherit salvation?

how shall we escape while neglecting so great a salvation? Which having received a beginning to be spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by the ones having heard.

And from this He is able to save to the end completely the ones coming near to God through Him who is always living to intercede on their behalf.

Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship of the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever purposes to be a friend of the world is put down as a hostile one to God.

And the prayer of faith will save the one being sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he may have committed sin, it will be forgiven him.

know that the one turning back a sinner from the error of his way will save the soul from death, and will cover a multitude of sins.
