And some of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.

And to the sons of Kohath, remaining of the family of that tribe, ten cities out of the half tribe, the half of Manasseh by lot.

And they gave to them for cities of refuge: Shechem in Mount Ephraim and its open lands, and Gezer and its open lands,

Bezer in the wilderness, in the tableland, for the Reubenites; and Ramoth in Gilead for the Gadites; and Golan in Bashan for the Manassites.
