And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tiglath-pileser, king of Assyria, and he exiled them; even the Reubenites; and the Gadites; and the half tribe of Manasseh. And he brought them to Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the Gozan River, to this day.

Then the heads of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, and everyone whose spirit God had stirred up, rose up to go up to build the house of Jehovah which is in Jerusalem.

Have the gods of the nations delivered those whom my fathers have destroyed, Gozan and Haran, and Rezeph, and the sons of Eden who were in Telassar?

Truly, O Jehovah, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the lands, and their land,
