And God sent an angel to Jerusalem to destroy it. And as he was destroying, Jehovah saw, and had pity over the evil, and said to the destroying angel, Enough! Now stay your hand. And the angel of Jehovah stood by the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

Neither murmur, as also some of them murmured, and were destroyed by the destroyer.

And they removed the gods of the alien from among them, and served Jehovah. And His soul was shortened with the misery of Israel.

And when Jehovah raised up judges to them, then Jehovah was with the judge, and saved them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge. For Jehovah took pity because of their groaning before those oppressing them, and those crushing them.

I repent that I made Saul reign as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and he has not risen to do My words. And Samuel was angry, and he cried to Jehovah all night.
