and David captured from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen; and David hamstrung all the chariot horses, but left of them a hundred chariots.

And Joshua did to them as Jehovah said to him. He hamstrung their horses, and burned their chariots with fire.
