And of the Danites arraying the battle were twenty-eight thousand, six hundred.

And the son of Dan was Hushim.

Let Dan be a serpent on the way, a horned snake on the path that bites the horses’ heels, and its rider falls backward.

And of Naphtali, a thousand chiefs; and with them with shield and spear were thirtyseven thousand.

And of Asher, going out to the army to set in order the battle were forty thousand.

And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion’s whelp; he shall leap from Bashan.
