The fig tree puts forth its green figs, and the vines with the tender grapes give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

Behold, you are fair, my love; behold, you are fair; you have doves' eyes.

My beloved spoke, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.

Catch us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.

I went down into the garden of nuts to see the blossoms of the valley, and to see whether the vine had budded, and the pomegranates were in bloom.

I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of its branches: may also your breasts be as clusters of the vine, and the fragrance of your breath like apples;

For before the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.

For as the earth brings forth its bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his fragrance as Lebanon.

Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, have not brought forth: but from this day will I bless you.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When its branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near:

Saying, If you had known, even you, at least in this your day, the things which belong unto your peace! but now they are hid from your eyes.

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.
