Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that often I purposed to come unto you, (but was prevented thus far,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

And when he had greeted them, he declared particularly what things God had done among the Gentiles by his ministry.

Where we found brethren, and were invited to tarry with them seven days: and so we went toward Rome.

That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

For I would not, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in.

Know you not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives?

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Moreover, brethren, I want not that you should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

Brethren, be not children in understanding: but in malice be children, but in understanding be men.

How is it then, brethren? when you come together, every one of you has a psalm, has a doctrine, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of my apostleship are you in the Lord.

For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life:

Now thanks be unto God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the fragrance of his knowledge by us in every place.

Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannuls, or adds thereto.

Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor: yet what I shall choose I know not.

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

That you might walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and brings forth fruit, as it does also in you, since the day you heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

Therefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them who are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others who have no hope.

For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now restrains will do so, until he be taken out of the way.

However the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
