[A maschil of Asaph.] Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
[A Psalm of Asaph.] The mighty God, even the LORD, has spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against you: I am God, even your God.
Against you, you only, have I sinned, and done this evil in your sight: that you might be justified when you speak, and be blameless when you judge.
[A maschil of Asaph.] O God, why have you cast us off forever? why does your anger smoke against the sheep of your pasture?
Bow down your ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply your heart unto my knowledge.
Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my justice to rest for a light of the people.
Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Who has ears to hear, let him hear.
Hear, O you kings; give ear, O you princes; I, even I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.
