There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.

And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light always before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen to put my name there.

Nevertheless for David’s sake did the LORD his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem:

Yet the LORD would not destroy Judah for David his servant’s sake, as he promised him to give him always a light, and to his children.

Yet the LORD would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a light to him and to his sons forever.

He also exalts the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise you the LORD.

I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

But my horn shall you exalt like the horn of a wild ox: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to spring forth, and I will open your mouth to speak in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

And has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.
