Be surety for your servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.
By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better covenant.
Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: my eyes fail with looking upward: O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me.
You have rebuked the proud that are cursed, who do err from your commandments.
Lay down a surety for me with you; who is he that will give surety for me?
Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.
I will be surety for him; of my hand shall you require him: if I bring him not unto you, and set him before you, then let me bear the blame forever:
