O our God, will you not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that comes against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon you.

[A Psalm of David.] Blessed be the LORD my strength, who teaches my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:

Then did I beat them as fine as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.

Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the refuse heap.

I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in my anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Now thanks be unto God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the fragrance of his knowledge by us in every place.

And he struck them hip and thigh with a great slaughter: and he went down and dwelt in the top of the rock of Etam.
