A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that makes ashamed is like rottenness in his bones.

A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dripping.

It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and angry woman.

It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a contentious woman in a whole house.

A continual dripping on a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.

He that carefully brings up his servant from a child shall have him become his son in the end.

For a servant when he reigns; and a fool when he is filled with food;
