Take his garment who is surety for a stranger: and hold it as a pledge of him for an immoral woman.
He that is surety for a stranger shall suffer for it: and he that hates being surety is secure.
To deliver you from the immoral woman, even from the seductress who flatters with her words;
There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.
Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.
For a harlot is a deep ditch; and a seductress is a narrow well.
Take his garment who is surety for a stranger, and hold it as a pledge of him for an immoral woman.
For the lips of an immoral woman drop as a honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:
My son, if you become surety for your friend, if you have struck your hand with a stranger,
And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of a harlot, and subtle of heart.
That they may keep you from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words.
