The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

And when Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled his donkey, and arose, and got him home to his house, to his city, and put his household in order, and hanged himself, and died, and was buried in the sepulcher of his father.

The steps of his strength shall be shortened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.

And they lie in wait for their own blood; they lurk secretly for their own lives.

The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.

Righteousness keeps him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthrows the sinner.

The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous has hope in his death.

The way of the slothful man is as a hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made a highway.

A wicked man hardens his face: but as for the upright, he considers his way.

Whosoever walks uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.

His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be held with the cords of his sins.

The way of the just is uprightness: you, most upright, do smooth the path of the just.

And the pride of Israel does testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall fall with them.

And when the men of Israel turned again, the men of Benjamin were amazed: for they saw that evil was come upon them.
