For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the innocent.

And through covetousness shall they with false words exploit you: whose judgment of old now lingers not, and their destruction slumbers not.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who shall secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them who desire occasion; that when they glory, they may be found even as we.

As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.

And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. Spots they are and blemishes, reveling themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

For you are yet carnal: for while there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are you not carnal, and walk as men?

From men by your hand, O LORD, from men of the world, who have their portion in this life, and whose belly you fill with your hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and fornicators, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie.

These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, holding men in admiration for the sake of advantage.

Traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Perverse wranglings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw yourself.

That they all might be condemned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.

Your glorying is not good. Know you not that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

And you are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that has done this deed might be taken away from among you.

But you have profaned it, in that you say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his food, is contemptible.

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that worked miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

But now you rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

And then shall that Wicked One be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

And he would not for awhile: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

There was a certain rich man, who was clothed in purple and fine linen, and feasted sumptuously every day:

And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get you behind me, Satan: you are an offense unto me: for you consider not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

Her heads judge for reward, and her priests teach for hire, and her prophets divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? no evil can come upon us.

Thus says the LORD: Concerning the prophets who make my people stray, who bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that puts nothing into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.

You eat the fat, and you clothe yourselves with the wool, you kill them that are fed: but you feed not the flock.

So much as she has glorified herself, and lived luxuriously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she says in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into licentiousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

What fruit had you then in those things of which you are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

And will you profane me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?

Why trample you on my sacrifice and on my offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honor your sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chief of all the offerings of Israel my people?

But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goes forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of food, and were well-off, and saw no evil.

Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
