But a certain maidservant beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.
Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard: and a maidservant came unto him, saying, You also were with Jesus of Galilee.
And in the evening he came with the twelve.
And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble you her? she has wrought a good work for me.
After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the courtyard, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.
And he denied it, saying, Woman, I know him not.
Then said the girl that kept the door unto Peter, Are not you also one of this man's disciples? He said, I am not.
