Praise you the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves.

My heart is toward the rulers of Israel, that offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless you the LORD.

Your people shall be willing in the day of your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: you have the dew of your youth.

And next to him was Amasiah the son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself unto the LORD; and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valor.

For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

For true and righteous are his judgments: for he has judged the great harlot, who did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

Rejoice over her, you heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets; for God has avenged you on her.

But without your consent would I do nothing; that your benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.

Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.

For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what a man has, and not according to what he has not.

For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a stewardship of the gospel is committed unto me.

But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endures forever.

Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of your judgments, O LORD.

O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongs; O God, to whom vengeance belongs, show yourself.

Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of your judgments.

It is God that avenges me, and subdues the people under me.

And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.

Rejoice, O you nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.

And he provided the first part for himself, because there, with the portion of a lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the LORD, and his judgments with Israel.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
