When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.

They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.

Then did I beat them as fine as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.

If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

When your terror comes as desolation, and your destruction comes as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish comes upon you.

Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you: yea, when you make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

Therefore thus says the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.

When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer a burnt offering and a grain offering, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.

Therefore will I also deal in fury: my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they wailed upon their beds: they assemble themselves for grain and wine, and they rebel against me.

Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves in an evil way in their deeds.

Therefore it has come to pass, that just as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, says the LORD of hosts:

When once the Master of the house is risen up, and has shut the door, and you begin to stand outside, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know not where you come from:

Now we know that God hears not sinners: but if any man be a worshiper of God, and does his will, him he hears.

And you returned and wept before the LORD; but the LORD would not hearken to your voice, nor give ear unto you.

You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it upon your lusts.
