Behold, as wild donkeys in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising early for a prey: the wilderness yields food for them and for their children.

And by your sword shall you live, and shall serve your brother; and it shall come to pass when you shall have the dominion, that you shall break his yoke from off your neck.

The tents of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God brings abundantly.

The murderer rising with the light kills the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.

Whose harvest the hungry eats up, and takes it even out of the thorns, and the robber swallows up their wealth.

Man goes forth unto his work and to his labor until the evening.

For they sleep not, unless they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause someone to fall.

A wild donkey used to the wilderness, that sniffs in the wind in her desire; in her mating time who can turn her away? all they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they shall find her.

For they have made ready their heart like an oven, while they lie in wait: their baker sleeps all the night; in the morning it burns as a flaming fire.

For they have gone up to Assyria, a wild donkey alone by itself: Ephraim has hired lovers.

Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.

Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they leave not a bone till the morning.

Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.

And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
