My bone clings to my skin and to my flesh, and I have escaped by the skin of my teeth.

And you have filled me with wrinkles, which is a witness against me: and my leanness rising up in me bears witness to my face.

My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.

My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin is broken, and become loathsome.

Because of the voice of my groaning my bones cling to my skin.

I am like a vulture of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.

Their appearance is now blacker than coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaves to their bones; it is withered, it has become like a dry stick.

Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine.

Even the very dust of your city, which cleaves on us, we do wipe off against you: nevertheless be sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come near unto you.
