For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withers the grass, and its flower falls, and the beauty of the appearance of it perishes: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid coming out of their hiding places.

My days are like a shadow that declines; and I am withered like grass.

They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun strike them: for he that has mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.

And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

Saying, These last have worked but one hour, and you have made them equal unto us, who have borne the burden and heat of the day.

Therefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passes away.

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you,

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away.
