For consider him that endured such hostility of sinners against himself, lest you be wearied and faint in your minds.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

And have endured, and have patience, and for my name's sake have labored, and have not fainted.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, since you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.

Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things he has done for you.

And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks unto you as unto children, My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked of him:

And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat on the sabbath day, that they watched him.

And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, you approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be you terrified because of them;

But you, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers who stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answer you the high priest so?

Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and you say, If a man keeps my saying, he shall never taste of death.

The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he awakens morning by morning, he awakens my ear to hear as the learned.

If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.

Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

The Pharisees therefore said unto him, You bear record of yourself; your record is not true.

And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceives the people.

And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.

And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receives sinners, and eats with them.

And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.

But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

And when he came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority do you these things? and who gave you this authority?

Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow does not cast out demons, but by Beelzebub the prince of the demons.

The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

And some of the Pharisees who were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?

And many of them said, He has a demon, and is mad; why hear you him?

Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judges righteously:
