He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;

And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and struck the waters, and they were divided here and there, so that they both went over on dry ground.

And he brought out the people that were in it, and put them to work with saws, and with picks of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David with all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.

And they conspired against him, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house of the LORD.
