The west side also shall be the great sea from the border, till one comes opposite Hamath. This is the west side.

Now these are the names of the tribes. From the north border along the road to Hethlon, as one enters Hamath, to Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus northward, in the direction of Hamath; for these are the sides east and west; a portion for Dan.

But, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, says the LORD the God of hosts; and they shall afflict you from the entrance of Hamath unto the river of Arabah.

And Hamath also, which borders on it; and against Tyre, and Sidon, though they are very wise.

So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, near the entrance of Hamath.

From mount Hor you shall mark out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the end of the border shall be at Zedad:

And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
