Ecclesiastes 8:1

Who is as the wise man? and who knows the interpretation of a thing? a man's wisdom makes his face to shine, and the hardness of his face is changed.

And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.

The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is God of gods, and Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing you could reveal this secret.

And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his clothing was white as the light.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ordinary men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto your servants, that with all boldness they may speak your word,

And all that sat in the council, looking steadfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.

Therefore you must be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience’s sake.

And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young:

However the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of one’s own interpretation.
