And now, though you would wish to be gone, because you greatly longed after your father's house, yet why have you stolen my gods?

And there they left their images, and David and his men burned them.

For from Israel is even this: the workman made it; therefore it is not God: but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.

For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.

And you shall overthrow their altars, and break their stone idols, and burn their idol poles with fire; and you shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.

And he said, you have taken away my gods which I made, and the priest, and you are gone away: and what have I more? and what is this that you say unto me, What ails you?
