But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.

I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from there into Macedonia.

And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.

For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether you be obedient in all things.

I am afraid for you, lest I have bestowed upon you labor in vain.

The sword outside, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the nursing child also with the man of gray hairs.

For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter had tempted you, and our labor be in vain.
