For God is my witness, how greatly I long after you all in the affections of Jesus Christ.

And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you, though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved.

I will run the way of your commandments, when you shall enlarge my heart.

After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;

And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as you are: you have not injured me at all.

And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
