Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

For if we have been united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:

But rejoice, since you are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Now if we are dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.

For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by Christ.

As it is written, For your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

If you be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are you; for the spirit of glory and of God rests upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
