And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand.

And the devil deceiving them was cast into the lake of fire and sulphur, where are the wild beast and false prophet, and they shall be tortured day and night for ever and ever.

And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, shaken by a great wind.

And the third angel sounded the trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, burning as a torch, and it fell upon a third of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

And the fourth angel sounded the trumpet, and the third of the sun was stricken, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars; that a third of them might be darkened, and the day shone not, a third of it, and the night likewise.

And I saw the seven angels who stood before God; and seven trumpets were given to them.

And he opened the well of the bottomless pit; and a smoke went up out of the well, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun was darkened, and the air, from the smoke of the well.
