Dearly beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits if they are of God: for many false prophets have come out into the world.

I know thy works: behold, I have given before thee an open door, and none can shut it, for thou hast a little power, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

Truly the firm foundation of God has stood, having this seal, The Lord knows them being his. And, Let every one naming the name of Christ remove from iniquity.

And this he said trying him: for himself knew what he was about to do.

Therefore remember whence thou hest fallen, and repent, and do the first works; and if not, I come to thee quickly, and I will move the chandelier out of its place, except thou repent.
